Special Schools

So you have 50, 100 or 200 students aged between 5 and 19 with a variety of different learning difficulties as outlined on their EHC plan. You have X amount of students, X amount of teachers & classrooms and X amount of Senior leaders. So what is the best way of organizing your structure?

The following is opinion, not fact but is based on experience

  1. Categorize the students by their needs and age (key stage).
  2. Identify teachers and their strengths (e.g. behaviour, planning and dealing with staff/parents).
